About The Position

We are expanding our recruiting operations and looking for a motivated, dependable, and energetic Remote Phone Booker / Appointment Scheduler to help connect interested applicants with our hiring team. This is not random cold calling. You'll primarily contact warm candidates who have already applied, responded to a recruiting advertisement, or expressed interest in learning more about our career opportunities. Your role is simple but important: Connect → Confirm Interest → Schedule → Remind → Follow Up → Help Candidates Show Up. You'll help create a positive first impression while keeping our interview calendar and recruiting pipeline moving. No previous recruiting or appointment-setting experience is required. Training is provided.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Have access to a reliable computer or laptop
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have working microphone or headset capability
  • Maintain a quiet environment for phone calls
  • Be comfortable making frequent outbound calls
  • Be comfortable learning web-based systems
  • Be able to maintain accurate candidate records
  • Communicate professionally with applicants
  • Be reliable and consistent with follow-up
  • Be comfortable working toward activity and appointment goals
  • Provide their own computer/laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace
  • Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings
  • Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities
  • Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense
  • Self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to candidates who have already applied or expressed interest
  • Introduce yourself professionally and create a positive first impression
  • Confirm the candidate's continued interest
  • Provide basic information regarding the next step in the hiring process
  • Schedule candidates for available career overviews and interviews
  • Help applicants select available appointment times
  • Send or confirm applicable scheduling information
  • Verify upcoming appointments
  • Follow up with candidates before scheduled interviews
  • Contact applicants who missed previous appointments
  • Help interested candidates reschedule
  • Answer basic questions regarding scheduling and interview logistics
  • Direct detailed position-specific questions to the appropriate recruiter or hiring manager
  • Monitor upcoming appointments
  • Confirm scheduled candidates
  • Follow up when appropriate

  • Identify candidates who still need to schedule
  • Keep candidate statuses current
