About The Position
This 100% remote opportunity with AO – American Income Division of Globe Life seeks motivated, people-focused professionals to join their growing virtual team as Remote Benefits Representatives. The role involves working directly with individuals and families through scheduled virtual appointments to help them understand available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits and make informed decisions. This position combines customer service, benefits education, relationship building, and consultative insurance sales. AO provides training and mentorship, making it suitable for those starting a new career or bringing experience from various customer-facing fields. No prior insurance experience is required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Be physically located within the United States
- Have access to a computer or laptop
- Maintain reliable high-speed internet
- Have webcam and microphone capability
- Maintain a quiet, professional workspace
- Be comfortable meeting clients virtually
- Be willing to complete required training
- Hold or be willing and able to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled virtual appointments through Zoom and phone
- Learn about individual and family protection needs
- Explain available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits
- Answer questions regarding coverage options and policy features
- Provide needs-based recommendations
- Guide clients through applications and enrollment
- Assist with required documentation
- Provide ongoing policy and client support
- Build long-term relationships through professionalism and exceptional service
- Maintain consistent communication before and after enrollment
- Assist clients with policy reviews and service questions
- Help with beneficiary and policy information updates when applicable
- Provide timely follow-up
- Maintain accurate digital client records
