Remodel Fixture Installer
About The Position
Signature Retail Services is hiring a full-time, project-based Travel Fixture Installer for its Remodel Team. The role involves weekly regional travel and hands-on work on large-scale remodels, fixture installations, department resets, and retail merchandising projects at major home improvement retailers. Installers work with a professional remodel crew and may travel throughout their assigned region and surrounding states, typically returning home most weekends. Project schedules include overnight work. Compensation is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience. The company provides W-2 employment, company-paid hotels and airfare (room sharing applies), per diem, and mileage and drive-time reimbursement. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and proof of active auto insurance.
- Be able to travel weekly throughout the assigned region and surrounding states.
- Have strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, screwdrivers, tape measures, and box cutters.
- Have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team setting or independently.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and in-store reporting.
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb ladders, and remain active throughout overnight shifts.
- Be able to regularly lift, move, and handle products, fixtures, and materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Be comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.
- Complete required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, and employment eligibility verification.

- Experience in remodel construction, carpentry, fixture installation, construction remodel merchandising, or other hands-on trades.
Responsibilities
- Complete large-scale remodels, fixture installations, and department resets through physically active, hands-on work.
- Install, relocate, adjust, and dismantle steel fixtures, cantilevers, shelving, pallet racking, and displays.
- Support department teardowns, rebuilds, and merchandising projects.
- Set products, signage, and displays according to planograms and project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment.
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards throughout each project.
- Work with teammates, project leaders, and store management to complete projects on schedule.
- Complete in-store reporting using web-based handheld devices.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete other job-related instructions and tasks as directed by management.
