Requirements

Active RVT license in the state of California OR hands-on experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Utilize RVT license or veterinary assistant experience to deliver top-notch patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records with appropriate veterinary terminology.
Perform or assist with lab work, patient restraint, and radiology, ensuring quality results.
Assist with medication administration and handle controlled substances in accordance with state guidelines.
Work closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to provide exceptional care.
Deliver clear, compassionate discharge instructions and support to pet owners.
Practice independence, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.
