About The Position

The Relief Pit Supervisor will oversee all activities of the table games department to ensure the efficient operation. When not scheduled to supervise, this position will also deal assigned table games as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and/or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the gaming industry.
  • 2 years in supervisory role required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize MS Office applications.
  • Respond to common inquiries and/or complaints from guest.
  • Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to work all shifts any weekend and holiday.
  • Registration with Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of dealing assigned games while maintaining the highest standards in customer service.
  • Assist in tracking play and game observation.
  • Demonstrate an effective working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures for all games played on property. (21, Craps, Roulette, Pai Gow and Three Card Poker).
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards, and money.
  • Always present oneself as a credit to the Legends Bay Casino and encourages others to do the same.
  • Provide motivation, guidance, and support to Table Games Dealers.
  • Allocate the staff to tables ensuring the integrity of the game is not jeopardized.
  • Ensure Table Games Dealers adhere to the gaming procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints / disputes where possible or refer such matters to the Pit Supervisor or Management.
  • Other duties as assigned
