Reliability Engineer

Saxon Global•Westlake, TX

About The Position

As a Senior Reliability Engineer in the Enterprise Infrastructure Reliability Engineering group, you will combine infrastructure automation and reliability engineering to deliver highly available, resilient services at scale. The group brings together Operations Excellence and Development Experience, building reliability through resiliency engineering, automation, observability, and chaos testing. The role also contributes to enterprise backup and recovery capabilities by automating recovery workflows, enabling rehoused recovery into alternate datacenters, and testing recovery processes. You will apply production insight, data, operational automation, developer guidance, and real-time metrics to help teams scale. The position involves working across public and private cloud environments and building scalable solutions to monitor Container Platform health and provide useful operational signals. You will strengthen operational processes with Fidelity support and incident management teams, collaborate with Fidelity and cloud service provider product teams to improve Kubernetes service offerings, and identify and prioritize client and partner needs to guide team execution. Additional backup and recovery work includes improving enterprise recovery capabilities, reducing recovery time through automation, enabling recovery into new datacenters, and strengthening platform reliability through data protection design.
