The E&I Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing technical guidance on Electrical and Instrumentation equipment within the refinery that maintains and improves the safety, environmental, and reliability performance of the assets. The E&I Reliability Engineer will demonstrate accountability for increasing equipment reliability by improving time between failures while reducing equipment downtime and maintenance costs. This role works collaboratively with the entire refining organization to develop, implement, and maintain Delek’s Engineering Practices and applicable RAGAGEP standards. This role develops strategies to manage refinery assets at peak performance, optimize lifetime return on investment, mitigate reliability risk, and supports capital improvements in support of long term sustainable performance; and champion the troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, planning and budgeting for E&I equipment including electrical power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, MCCs, protective devices, instrumentation and control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), analyzers, CEMS, ambient air monitoring systems, sample systems, PLCs, control valves and transmitters.
