About The Position

The Reliability Engineer II creates, implements, and monitors Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs to improve equipment reliability, availability, and overall plant performance. The role analyzes equipment condition and performance data to identify potential failures and develop proactive maintenance strategies. The Reliability Engineer manages and supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, NDT, and other condition-monitoring technologies. Working closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Planning teams, the position identifies and eliminates repetitive equipment failures through root cause analysis, FMEA, Pareto analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. It also supports the development and optimization of PM routines, equipment criticality, maintenance strategies, and reliability metrics such as MTBF and equipment availability. The role provides technical guidance and coaching to plant teams while promoting a strong safety, reliability, and continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three years of experience.
  • Required technical skills in SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plant equipment.
  • Experience in the practical application of FMEA.
  • Ability to analyze equipment condition data, identify potential failure mechanisms, and develop appropriate maintenance recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Planning teams in a field environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and properly use Amrize-approved PPE, including respirators when required. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests, subject to applicable law.
