About The Position
As a Reliability Engineer II at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will lead initiatives to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of chemical plant equipment. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies, analyze equipment failures, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and proactive problem-solving. The position is based at the company’s Geismar, Louisiana location and follows a 9/80 work schedule. You will report to the Reliability Engineer Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, reliability engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Must be a U.S. person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Responsibilities
- Define, track, and report key performance indicators, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and lifecycle cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability improvements and incorporate reliability into all phases of the equipment lifecycle.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address underlying causes of equipment failures.
- Ensure reliability activities comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
