The Reliability Engineer - Electronics will ensure the safe and reliable operation of production facilities while supporting the lowest life cycle cost. This role involves making technical decisions and recommendations based on data analysis and evaluation of costs, risks, and benefits. The engineer will partner with regional reliability teams and plant staff to develop detailed outage plans, including parts requirements, contractor coordination, planned work, outage execution, and risk mitigation. They will also present outage plans to leadership within Linde and customer organizations. Additionally, the role includes developing and maintaining spare parts plans, supporting inventory control and ordering, and adjusting plans based on operating history and information from the Center of Excellence. The engineer will partner with the Center of Excellence to implement best practices for maintenance and parts planning, and support reliability assessments using Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement. Responsibilities also include supporting the setup of new facilities and reliability programs, leading identified reliability initiatives, and assisting with critical spare identification and BOM creation for critical assets in the CMMS and other critical systems. The role involves supporting regional reliability teams with preventive maintenance compliance schedules and task plans in the CMMS, specifically for electronics-related maintenance. The position requires a combination of office and field work with approximately 25% domestic travel and occasional off-hours accessibility via laptop and cell phone.
