Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for our team. The Teller leaves a lasting impression and assists our customers with a variety of financial transactions. Requirements

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience working with the public and handling money
  • Basic math and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of previous banking experience

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers cheerfully as they walk through the branch doors.
  • Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments efficiently.
  • Utilize product knowledge to recommend financial products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls, vouchers, receipts, security, and proofs, ensuring it balances at the end of each day.
  • Count cash, enter information into a computer, comply with check-cashing guidelines, and look for fraudulent activity.
  • Take on all service opportunities, including new account processing and updating customer and account information.
  • Provide needs-based solutions for customers.
