About The Position

Centra Credit Union, established in 1940 and headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Relationship Representative I for its branch in Seymour, Indiana. The Relationship Representative I is responsible for engaging members, creating value through transactions, and achieving high accuracy. This role involves educating and advising members on financial solutions, participating in outreach programs, opening new deposit accounts, and supporting Retail operations while ensuring branch safety and compliance. The position includes a Learning Path for development, allowing progression from Relationship Representative I to III, with further career paths in Retail Operations or other areas. The starting wage for this position is $21.88 per hour, and eligible positions receive a comprehensive benefits package. Spanish/English interpreters may qualify for an interpreting differential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

Responsibilities

Creates value by actively engaging Members during account transactions while educating and advising on Credit Union products and services.
Performs Member account maintenance, telephonic outbound calling to Members and engage in outreach activities to build Member relationships while promoting products and services.
Proactively engages with Members in problem solving for their financial needs and goals.
Engages in required Learning Path for continued development and growth and obtains Centra certification.
