Benchmark Community Bank is seeking to hire an outgoing and service-oriented Teller for our brand-new branch in Oxford, North Carolina. The Teller leaves a lasting impression and assists our customers with a variety of financial transactions. Requirements

Excellent relationship building skills
Experience working with the public and handling money
Basic math and computer skills

1-2 years of previous banking experience

Responsibilities

Greet customers cheerfully as they walk through the doors of the Oxford branch.
Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
Utilize product knowledge to recommend financial products and services to meet customer needs.
Maintain a cash drawer with proper controls, receipts, and security.
Ensure cash drawer balances at the end of each day.
Count cash, enter information into a computer, comply with check-cashing guidelines, and look for fraudulent activity.
Take on all service opportunities, from easy to challenging.
Process new accounts.
Update customer and account information.
Provide needs-based solutions for customers.
