About The Position

BSNB is seeking an enthusiastic Relationship Manager to join their team. This role involves providing client services and operational leadership within the branch, with accountability for growing market share through customer and employee satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will coach, motivate, and provide ongoing training in referrals, bank products, the client experience, and customer excellence to all branch employees. Additionally, the Relationship Manager is responsible for staffing, management, coaching, and motivating staff, handling complex service issues, and ensuring security, audit, and compliance procedures are followed as outlined in bank policy. BSNB, established in 1838, is a nationally recognized bank and a capital region Best Place to Work, providing community banking to individuals, families, and businesses in the greater Capital Region through thirteen full-service banking offices and digital capabilities. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business or related field required
  • Two to three years' experience in banking or related management position
  • Proven sales and leadership abilities required
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency required

  • Additional supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Primary service provider and reviews client product needs, cross sells appropriate bank products and makes referrals to other lines of business to meet branch goals.
  • Able to facilitate complex banking transactions, and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships.
  • Meets established branch sales goals.
  • Provides leadership through coaching, training, and mentoring of branch staff including ongoing timely performance feedback.
  • Create a positive working environment with a focus on customer service and team development.
  • Participates in community activities to network with clients and potential clients.
  • Enforce or ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing financial institutions.
