The Relationship Banker will provide exceptional service to customers, prospective customers, and bank associates by ensuring prompt, professional interactions that fully align with Park Promises and Serving More standards. This role fosters and strengthens retail banking customer relationships and resolves basic to moderately complex customer issues/concerns. The Relationship Banker coordinates sales efforts, retail, and business relationship management activities ensuring effective analysis and communication across all lines of business such as the Banking Center Network, Mortgage Lending, Commercial/Cash Management, and Wealth Management. They act as the customer's personal banker, utilizing the bank's Contact Management philosophy and strategy to strengthen relationships, offer products and services that align with customer needs, and provide exceptional customer services. This role executes retail banking initiatives and strategies through consultative relationship management, cross-sells products and services, and performs related clerical functions, such as account and customer maintenance. The Relationship Banker originates, retains, and maintains customer accounts, including but not limited to Retail Deposit Accounts, Digital Products and Services, and Small Business Deposit Accounts. They address a variety of customer inquiries and complete transactions promptly, accurately, and within designated authority; requests may be in person, by phone, virtual, and/or digital/website (including processing teller transactions, as needed). The Relationship Banker acts as an advocate of digital product adoption for customers and provides internal support for branch associates. They assist Branch Management with daily Branch Operations duties such as generating reports and gathering data, as needed. The role requires completing ongoing product knowledge, digital product knowledge, financial services and sales-oriented training in addition to all required course training to sustain a broad base of product, service, and sales knowledge. The Relationship Banker must maintain awareness of and adherence to the Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies, and procedures and apply them to daily tasks. They deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards. Travel within the Park National footprint is expected. Other duties as assigned.
