About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network. The role serves as a primary point of contact for customers across all segments, including affluent customers, supporting everyday banking needs through scheduled appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach. Relationship Bankers help customers work toward financial goals through discovery conversations, planning, digital engagement, and customized deposit, credit, and investment solutions. They also handle everyday banking activities, including opening accounts and resolving service requests, while providing a seamless customer experience. The position focuses on acquiring and growing customer relationships, building trust and loyalty, and collaborating with colleagues and partners across Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking to meet customer needs through appropriate referrals. It is suited to professionals seeking to build a long-term financial-services career and develop consultative expertise as customers’ needs become more complex. The role requires sound risk judgment, accurate documentation, adherence to policies and regulations, and effective escalation of issues. The Relationship Banker LP (license pending) role is temporary until the employee completes licensing and SAFE requirements. Employees hired into that role who are not fully licensed participate in the Branch Network Licensed Banker program and transition to the Relationship Banker (SAFE) role after successful completion of the requirements.
