Relationship Banker Augusta District

Wells Fargo & Company•Hephzibah, GA

About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network. The Relationship Banker serves as a primary point of contact for customers across all segments, including affluent customers, addressing everyday banking needs through scheduled appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach. The role helps customers pursue financial goals through planning, digital engagement, and customized deposit, credit, and investment solutions, while also opening accounts and handling service requests. The banker builds customer trust and loyalty through discovery-led conversations, consultative advice, and long-term relationship management. Working collaboratively in a branch environment, the banker partners with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking colleagues to coordinate appropriate referrals and integrated solutions. Success calls for proactive customer engagement, strong relationship skills, responsible risk management, and ongoing attention to customer needs. The Relationship Banker LP (license pending) role is temporary until the employee completes licensing and SAFE requirements. Employees hired into that role who are not fully licensed participate in the Branch Network Licensed Banker program, then transition to the Relationship Banker (SAFE) role upon successful completion. Required FINRA and state insurance licenses must be active or completed within the designated timeframe and maintained for continued employment. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates that process after the employee starts. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
