About The Position

At Bank of America, the Relationship Banker engages clients in the lobby, educates and assists them with transactions through self-service resources such as mobile banking, online banking, and ATMs, and accurately processes cash transactions as needed. The role involves in-depth conversations to understand clients’ financial and life priorities and connecting them with solutions that support their financial goals.

This position is based at financial centers in the Brooklyn, New York area and requires bilingual Mandarin. Bank of America maintains an in-office culture, with expectations shaped by role responsibilities and business needs. The role is first shift and 40 hours per week. The listed hourly pay range is $25.00–$26.77; offers are determined by experience, education, and skill set. Compensation is base salary and is not incentive eligible. The role is benefits eligible.

Requirements

• Bilingual Mandarin is required.

• Manage time and capacity efficiently.
• Focus on results while acting in the client’s best interest.
• Able to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center location within a reasonable distance.
• High school diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent.
• Able to work first shift for 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in financial services and knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and solutions.
• One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary-plus-incentive environment with individual sales goals.
• Six months of cash-handling experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or business-relevant associate degree, such as business management, business administration, or finance.
• Skills in adaptability, business acumen, customer and client focus, oral communications, problem solving, account management, client experience, branding, client management, client solutions advisory, relationship building, business development, pipeline management, prospecting, referral identification, and referral management.
