Relationship Bankers build and maintain customer relationships across in-person, appointment-based, and virtual channels, using a digital-first approach to understand customers’ banking needs and recommend solutions. They obtain and process customer and account information, explain deposit and loan products and services, and provide counsel tailored to each customer’s goals. The role includes proactive outreach and follow-up, identifying solutions for new and existing customers, maintaining knowledge of consumer and business banking products—including digital services—and delivering a consistent customer experience. Relationship Bankers greet customers, process basic transactions, open consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. They collaborate with branch colleagues and partners, educate customers about digital and self-service tools, and use available resources and technology to serve customers accurately and efficiently. The position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Registration includes criminal background and credit checks; failure to meet or maintain registration requirements may result in an offer being rescinded or employment terminated. The role requires working from a U.S. Bank location on all scheduled workdays.
