About The Position

The Relationship Banker II meets with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine their financial needs and proactively offers appropriate products, services, and guidance to help them reach their financial goals. The role is intended for candidates with retail or sales experience who want to begin a career with opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility. The successful candidate is individually driven and competitive, works effectively with a team, identifies customer needs, and communicates well. The position is based at the Delray Beach branch in Delray Beach, Florida. It requires registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). The role is incentive eligible, including commission and formulaic incentive plans, and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions.
Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and maintaining sustained attention to a monitor.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings.
Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to oversee large sums of cash.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Strong communication skills and customer focus.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Life Insurance License.
One year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience.
Bilingual English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Achieve branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspective about Regions’ solutions.
Conduct outbound calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to expand existing relationships and acquire new customers.
Educate and advise customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including loan and deposit types.
Educate customers on mobile, online, ATM, and other emerging digital banking solutions.
Provide a consistent customer experience, which may include greeting customers and processing transactions.
Take ownership of and resolve customer issues.
Refer customers to internal experts when complex financial goals or needs are identified.
Follow bank processes and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Complete duties delegated and assigned by the Branch Manager and help ensure sound banking practices, including managing, identifying, and reporting operational risks.
Track hours worked in excess of 40 per week.
