About The Position

Relationship Bankers build customer relationships across in-person, appointment-based, and virtual channels, using a digital-first mindset to provide appropriate financial guidance. They assess and address customers’ banking needs, obtain and process customer and account information, explain deposit and loan products and services, and recommend solutions aligned with each customer’s goals. They provide a consistent client experience, develop partnerships with branch colleagues, and use available resources and technologies to serve customers accurately and efficiently. The position is based at the U.S. Bank location at 250 N Main St, Mount Angel, OR 97362, and requires working from a U.S. Bank location on all scheduled work days. It requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. The registration process includes criminal background and credit checks; failure to meet or maintain registration requirements may result in rescission of an offer or termination of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Typically, at least four to five years of job-related retail banking experience, or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
NMLS registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including required criminal background and credit checks.

Responsibilities

Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up, asking questions to understand financial needs and preferred banking channels.
Identify solutions for new and existing clients by engaging and communicating effectively with them.
Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital products and services.
Provide an optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to serve clients.
Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
Educate clients about emerging and self-service digital products and services to help meet their financial needs.
Use available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and provide operational excellence and accuracy.
