About The Position

Mascoma Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker I to join its Retail Team. The role is the first point of contact for customers and supports their everyday banking needs, questions, and financial goals. The Relationship Banker I provides exceptional customer service, helps customers understand available products and services, and supports account opening and application processes. The position requires a helpful, positive approach, careful handling of customer information and bank records, and adherence to bank policies and applicable monitoring and reporting requirements. The role may involve working at different locations and schedules, including Saturdays and early-morning drive-up hours.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of customer information.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with daily banking needs, including deposits and withdrawals.
• Build and enhance customer relationships by resolving issues and identifying ways to support customers’ financial well-being.
• Explain bank products and services and help customers identify options that make banking easier.
• Guide customers through account-opening and application processes and set expectations for managing their finances.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and take ownership of the customer experience, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and properly secure negotiable and confidential records.
• Understand and follow Mascoma Bank policies and procedures, including BSA/CIP and OFAC monitoring and reporting, security, operations, and personnel policies.
