About The Position

The Relationship Banker I conducts teller and cash vault transactions accurately and promptly while providing exceptional customer service and following bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines. The role helps customers achieve their financial goals by selling and servicing bank products and services. The incumbent works with the branch team to achieve team scorecard goals and is accountable for individual scorecard goals.

The position handles customer transactions and account inquiries, maintains and balances cash drawers and the vault, and reconciles discrepancies. It also involves identifying customer needs and offering suitable products and services, assisting with internal controls and daily report follow-up, handling night depository deposits, and performing other operational duties as assigned. The Relationship Banker I mitigates losses through accuracy and policy adherence, demonstrates the Bank’s Right by You quality standards, and contributes to individual and team financial, production, and relationship results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, plus one year of cash-handling and customer-service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong relationship skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• High accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Exceptional time-management, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
• Complete teller training classes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities
