About The Position

The Relationship Associate supports the business customer segment by processing deposit and lending transactions, assisting with loan closing documentation, and addressing other identified business customer needs. This is a customer-facing role that involves building and maintaining strong working relationships with peers, customers, and lending staff. The position is anticipated to be onsite at the posted location, though the work location may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in the banking industry.
• Strong client service background and skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong written communication and exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including by telephone and in person when greeting clients, prospects, and vendors.
• Ability to complete multiple assignments and projects accurately, with quality, and within deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Unrestricted work authorization with no need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers.
• Facilitate customer research and corrections.
• Process loan payments, advances, and maintenance.
• Originate and maintain commercial deposit accounts.
• Assist with real estate service forms.
• Assist with loan system workflows.
• Perform loan tracking tasks.
• Review loan documents.
• Assist with loan closings.
• Process complex loans, including construction draws and floor plans.
• Provide operational support to lending staff.
