About The Position
The Rehabilitation Aide assists multidisciplinary professionals and paraprofessionals in providing quality patient care. The role supports cost-effective maintenance of the department and its supplies; prepares patients and equipment for treatment; transports patients; and helps maintain an orderly work environment. Under the supervision of the appropriate professional, the Rehabilitation Aide also assists with patient treatment.
Requirements
- Upon hire, hold National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience or volunteer work in a rehabilitation setting.
- Upon hire, hold Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Alaska for SNF.
Responsibilities
- Assist multidisciplinary staff in providing quality patient care.
- Assist the manager with cost-effective maintenance of the department and its supplies.
- Prepare patients and equipment for treatment.
- Transport patients.
- Help maintain an orderly working environment.
- Assist with patient treatment under the supervision of the appropriate professional.
