About The Position
The Rehabilitation Technician I supports Licensed Clinical Staff in assisting patients with rehabilitation services. The position prepares the treatment environment for care and works collaboratively in a team environment. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Travel is required never or rarely.
Requirements
- American Heart Association Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides hands-on assistance at the direction of the Supervising Therapist.
- Transports patients to and from the therapy area, as required.
- Maintains a clean environment prepared for patient care.
- As applicable, cleans and disinfects department equipment, keeps it orderly, and reports defective equipment.
- Monitors inventory needs for department equipment and supplies and places orders as required to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Performs clerical duties as assigned.
