About The Position

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is a new 124-bed acute-care hospital located in Seminole County, Florida. The facility offers a full complement of services, including inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation services, cardiovascular care, emergency care, general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics. The inpatient Acute Care Therapy offers unit-based specialized therapists for Oncology/Lymphedema, Neurological Conditions, Stroke, Orthopedics, Limb Loss, Multiple Traumas, and more. Outpatient services are treated at our outpatient clinic located in Longwood, FL. Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor, and under the direct supervision of staff therapists, this role assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting, and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting and maintenance tasks.
• Maintains the clinic and office in a clean and well-organized fashion.
• Assists in in-coming supplies and equipment.
• Assists in the inventory of supplies, and prepares orders on a monthly basis.
• Answers the phone and takes messages, photocopies material, files and performs general office duties and other duties as directed by the team leader.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
