About The Position

Stripe is hiring a Regulatory Reporting Program Manager to support the Global Regulatory Reporting team and maintain the U.S. regulatory reporting program for stablecoin and other digital-asset financial activities. The role partners with Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Business, Product, Data Analytics, Engineering, and Finance teams to understand and document applicable requirements, track them across entities, and manage the end-to-end process for compiling data, producing reports, and monitoring compliance. The position owns the U.S. regulatory reporting program for digital assets, including stablecoin-related activities. It translates regulatory requirements into reporting specifications and execution plans, oversees reporting from data sourcing through regulator submission, and ensures reports accurately represent stablecoin activities and risks. It also develops reporting controls and documentation, improves data lineage and automation, manages the effects of regulatory and business changes, and serves as the main contact for reporting matters during regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries. The role calls for comfort operating across both technology and financial-services environments, including in ambiguous and fast-changing conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent practical experience in financial-services regulatory reporting may be considered.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading delivery of an ongoing regulatory reporting program in a regulated financial-services environment, ideally involving stablecoin issuance, payments, or custody.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. compliance and regulatory obligations applicable to stablecoins, including evolving federal and state frameworks such as the GENIUS Act and related Treasury, banking, and payments guidance.
  • Working knowledge of the U.S. payment stablecoin regulatory landscape and experience engaging directly with U.S. federal regulators, such as the OCC or Treasury, and state regulators on reporting, data submissions, or supervisory requests.
  • Ability to work across complex data environments, including on-chain and off-chain sources, internal ledgers, and third-party systems, to produce accurate, cohesive, regulator-ready reports.
  • Experience reading, analyzing, and compiling financial statements, reserve-related data, transaction-level reporting, and other financial regulatory reports relevant to stablecoin and payments activity.
  • Financial-services background with direct exposure to stablecoins, digital assets, payments, e-money, or other money-services-business activities.
  • Demonstrated success executing complex cross-functional programs in fast-growing organizations and building scalable, repeatable regulatory reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and judgment, including the ability to address novel or ambiguous regulatory and data challenges and develop balanced, risk-aware solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume, evolving regulatory environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Compliance, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Data, Product, and Accounting teams.
  • A strong culture-of-compliance mindset and ability to turn regulatory expectations into practical, business-aligned execution without impeding responsible growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stablecoins, digital assets, payments, or fintech platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting for banks, trust companies, payment institutions, or money-services businesses.
  • Experience working on Call Reports FFIEC041 and FFIEC031.
  • Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or supervisory reviews.
  • Exposure to reporting automation, data pipelines, or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end U.S. regulatory reporting program for digital assets, including stablecoin-related financial activities, and define reporting scope, governance, timelines, and accountability for required filings.
  • Interpret U.S. reporting requirements for stablecoins, digital assets, payments, and custody, translating them into reporting specifications, data definitions, and execution plans with Legal and Compliance.
  • Manage the reporting lifecycle from data sourcing and aggregation through validation, internal review, sign-off, and timely submission to regulators.
  • Ensure reports accurately reflect stablecoin-specific activities and risks, including issuance, redemption, circulation, reserves, custody arrangements, and on-chain and off-chain transaction flows.
  • Design and maintain reporting controls, including data-quality checks, reconciliations, documentation, and issue remediation, to support audit and examination readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data, Finance, Compliance, and Legal to improve data lineage, transparency, and automation in regulatory reporting processes.
  • Manage reporting change control by assessing how new or evolving regulations, product launches, and system changes affect reporting scope, data requirements, and controls.
  • Develop and maintain regulator-ready reporting methodologies, assumptions, data lineage, and process documentation for supervisory reviews and examinations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory reporting during U.S. regulatory exams, audits, and inquiries.
