Manager, Regulatory Reporting

Fidelity Investments•Boston, MA
•$74,000 - $141,000

About The Position

Join the Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM) Regulatory Reporting Operations Team, which is responsible for the integrity of trade and position reporting submitted to regulators for National Financial Services, Fidelity Brokerage Services, and their correspondents. The role serves as an interface between trading desks, operations, compliance, technology development, and other business partners whose work affects regulatory reporting. It helps ensure reporting obligations are met through data analysis and understanding of regulations and trading infrastructure. The position is responsible for daily reconciliation, investigation, and resolution of reporting issues, and for working with the team to balance short-term fixes with long-term solutions. It also acts as a subject matter expert on reporting requirements, analyzes regulatory rule changes and internal business changes for their reporting impact, and supports Technology partners through requirements development, solutioning, testing, implementation, and validation. Fidelity’s broker-dealers must provide detailed trading data to governmental and industry regulators, including FINRA CAT, the SEC, and MSRB. The Regulatory Reporting group identifies issues or discrepancies in reporting and works with Operations and Technology to resolve them. Reporting issues can lead to inquiries, disciplinary action, or fines. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout, and onsite expectations vary by role and location and may evolve.
