About The Position

The Department of English at the Faculty of Arts is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ENG1120, Selected Topics in Literature and Composition, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course focuses on developing critical reading skills and coherent discourse, with readings in multiple genres serving as the basis for discussion and frequent written assignments. The course is not repeatable for credit and is not intended for English Majors or Honours students. Requirements

  • Ph.D (English)
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
