About The Position

Analysis of career development theories with emphasis on issues in career decision making and transition.

Requirements

  • PhD in education or a related field of study.
  • Publications in the field of study within the last 5 years.
  • Expertise in the subject area of career development theories.
  • Experienced in e-learning.

Nice To Haves

  • Competence in a second language (passive).
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the educational requirements and/or demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Theories of Career Development (EDU 5473, Section C00) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Deliver instruction in English for an in-person class on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
  • Engage with students on issues related to career decision making and transition.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Potentially adapt to e-learning environments if required.
