The School of Political Studies within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Comparative Politics: Latin America (POL3145, Section A00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course will offer a comparative study of political processes and institutions, examining their relationship with culture and society in various Latin American countries. It will also explore the political dynamics of Indigenous and/or Afro-descendant peoples, considering national and/or regional particularities. The course is expected to have an enrolment of 96 students and is offered in English. The teaching method may be modified due to public health measures or other reasons.
