About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Ottawa for the Winter 2027 semester. The course, PHI1370-A00: Philosophical Issues in Health Care, will explore philosophical issues, principally ethical, in medicine and healthcare. Requirements
- Ph.D in Philosophy.
- Experience in teaching at university level in Philosophy.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
- Canadian or permanent resident status (priority given).

Responsibilities
- Teach the course PHI1370-A00: Philosophical Issues in Health Care.
- Develop and submit a syllabus for approval by the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department of Philosophy.
- Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
