About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor in the Section de droit civil / Civil Law Section at the University of Ottawa for the 2027 Winter Semester. The role involves teaching the course "Protection of Rights and Freedoms" (Course Code: DCC2119, Section: AA00), which focuses on the analysis of international, constitutional, and legislative human rights protections, with a particular emphasis on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Requirements

Ability to analyze international, constitutional and legislative human rights protections, especially the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
An acceptable level of education and/or experience equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience
Passive competence in a second language
Successfully complete all mandatory legislated training under provincial law
Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority
