About The Position
The Faculty of Arts, Department of Communication is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach CMN1148-A00, Introduction to Organizational Communication, during the Fall 2026 semester. This course will study the basic concepts in interpersonal and organizational communication, including processes and communication networks in the dyad, small groups, and organizations. The course is scheduled to meet on Wednesdays from 19:00 to 22:00 and will be offered in person. The expected enrollment is 220 students, and the course is worth 3 credits.
Requirements
- PH.D. or M.A. in communication (preferably).
- Professional experience or expertise directly related to the course content.
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Employees are under provincial law required to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
- All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
