About The Position
Examination of literacy in relation to the construction of ethnicity, gender, social class and racialized difference; exploration of literacy theories from historical, psychological, political and educational perspectives; study of school, family, workplace and community literacy practices.
Requirements
- PhD in education or a field of study related to the course.
- Publications in the field of study within the last 5 years.
- Expertise in the subject area of Learning and Literacies.
- Experienced in e-learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course 'Learning and Literacies' (EDU6203 Section C00) during the Fall 2026 semester.
- Conduct classes on Wednesdays from 17:30 to 20:30.
- Engage with students on topics related to literacy, ethnicity, gender, social class, and racialized difference.
- Explore literacy theories from various perspectives.
- Study school, family, workplace, and community literacy practices.
