The Faculty of Arts, Department of History is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach HIS2310-A00, The Black Atlantic World: Histories, Cultures and Socio-Political Questions, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course explores the political and cultural history of the diaspora of African origin across the Atlantic World from the 16th to the 20th century. The position is for an in-person class with a schedule of Tuesdays from 10:00-11:30 and Thursdays from 8:30-10:00. The expected enrollment is 100 students, and the course is 3 credits. The hourly rate for teaching is $239.47 (2024-2025), not including vacation or statutory pay.
