About The Position
The Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Budgetary Policy and Public Finance (PAP3355, Section A00) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course covers principles and processes of financial management in the public sector, including budget development, parliamentary control, auditing, funding methods, and Canadian budgetary policies. The course is scheduled for Mondays from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Requirements
- Ph.D. or Ph.D. coursework in the field of Budgetary Policy and Public Finance.
- Teaching experience in the field.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
