About The Position
This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach the course "Le développement des villes" (GEG4702-A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will be offered in person and focuses on the study of urbanization processes and social transformations in various non-Canadian urban environments, including megacities, created cities, and spontaneous cities, as well as economic, cultural, and regional disparities. The expected enrollment is 45 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The instruction language is French.
Requirements
- Doctorate in human geography or a related field.
- Work experience related to cities.
- An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Competence in French.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
- All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
