About The Position

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course HIS2129-A00: Technology, Society and Environment Since 1850 during the 2027 Winter Semester. This course examines the role of technology in social, economic, and environmental change in industrial and "post-industrial" society. The teaching method is online, with a schedule of Tuesdays from 19:00 to 22:00. The University of Ottawa is committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a barrier-free work environment. Requirements

  • PhD in History
  • Be up-to-date in historical methodology, based on work experience, academic training, or publications.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
