About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in the Faculty of Arts, Department of Classics and Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa. The course, SRS3102 (Method and Theory in the Study of Religion), is an introduction to various methods and theories used in the scientific study of religion, aiming to familiarize students with contemporary approaches to the study of religious phenomena. The course is scheduled for the Winter 2027 semester and will be taught in person. Requirements
- M.A. in Religious Studies or equivalent
- Expertise in course topic required
- Competence in second language: N/A
- Teaching mode: in person
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training
