About The Position
The Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach Calculus III for Engineers (MAT2322, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. This course covers extrema of functions of several variables, multiple integration and applications, vector fields and their derivatives, curves, vector differential operators, line integrals, surfaces and surface integrals, and theorems of Stokes and Gauss. The expected enrollment is 160 students, and the course is worth 3 credits. The language of instruction is English.
Requirements
- PhD in mathematics.
- Expert level knowledge of LaTeX (the universal mathematical editor).
- Must coordinate (across all sections).
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
