About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the ECO2542 B00 course, "Théorie macroéconomique I", during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa. The course focuses on the analysis of goods, financial, and labor markets, understanding economic fluctuations in closed and open economies, and determining aggregate production, interest rates, exchange rates, investment, consumption, and the trade balance in the short and medium term. It also covers the impact of fiscal and monetary policies, and the relationship between inflation and unemployment. Requirements

  • PhD degree in Economics or Master's degree in economics
  • Recent professional experience as an economist related to the focus of the course in the public, para-public or private sector (must be demonstrated)
  • Competence in French (language of instruction)
