Registration Representative
About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Registration Representative for the Registration Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The role arranges efficient and orderly admissions for inpatients and for individuals receiving hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. It ensures patient information is collected and patients are informed of hospital policies and procedures. The representative interviews incoming patients or their representatives, enters required admission information into a computer database, distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments, and participates in performance improvement and CQI activities. The schedule is every Friday and Saturday night, 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., for 32 hours per pay period.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience dealing with customers.
Responsibilities

- Collect patient information and ensure patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
- Interview incoming patients or their representatives.
- Enter information required for admission into a computer database.

- Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities.
