The Registrar builds and schedules academic programs and educational services delivered at the campus level and maintains student transcripts and academic records. The role works closely with the Dean and other University departments to support student scheduling, records management, and related academic services. Responsibilities include building and maintaining student course and program schedules; verifying transcripts and admissions documentation; maintaining accurate paper and electronic student files and official documentation; and creating course sections and student schedules using local and online campus program wheels. The Registrar monitors audit sheets for updates and independently reviews reports to identify students who need scheduling or schedule changes. The role also records placement scores, transfer credits, and other student data that inform scheduling decisions; performs general office duties; and serves as a backup to the Registrar by cross-training on essential duties and fulfilling them as needed. Additional functions include enrollment verification, transcript follow-up and validation, graduation audits, transcript requests, status changes, reports, new student orientation, and continuing-student pre-registration. The Registrar tracks student files to ensure required documentation and signatures are present.
