About The Position
White Rock Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join their highly skilled team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and people skills, have some experience in the veterinary field, and demonstrate leadership qualities. The RVT will build positive client relationships by showing genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting the Veterinarian with medical, surgical, and dental procedures, utilizing diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery, and administering and monitoring medicines under veterinary direction.
Requirements
- Passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE.
- In good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
- Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Some experience in the Veterinary field.
- Leadership experience.
Responsibilities

- Assist the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
- Use a range of diagnostic equipment.
- Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
