In this role, the Practice Manager will create and lead a collaborative team environment that fosters growth, engagement, and exceptional client experiences. They will use empathy and problem-solving skills to swiftly resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Day-to-day will involve striving for operational excellence, managing team schedules, and supporting talent acquisition efforts by sourcing Locum DVMs and RVTs as needed. They will provide onboarding and coaching to new team members, conduct annual reviews, and offer feedback and support to help the team grow. The Practice Manager will also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice. They will also make a splash on social media, highlighting the great things their team is inspiring and doing. This is a role where one can make a real impact and lead with passion and purpose.

Requirements

  • Veterinary Industry Knowledge and/or Project Management Experience
  • Team Management/Supervisory Experience (2-3 years)
  • HR Management Experience
  • Veterinary Software Systems Knowledge
  • Financial/Budget Management Experience
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Communication Excellence
  • Change Management Experience
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours to meet team needs.
