Requirements
- RVT designation or eligibility to register in Alberta
- Strong technical nursing skills and clinical competence
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning
- Passion for patient care and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Assisting with consultations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Supporting and/or performing technical nursing skills within your full scope of practice
- Assisting in surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring
- Providing high-quality patient care and compassionate handling of animals
- Managing patient records and supporting accurate client communication and documentation
- Assisting with post-operative care, monitoring, and follow-up
- Collaborating with the veterinary team on case discussions and best practices
- Supporting and mentoring support staff and students where applicable
