RVT- Registered Veterinary Technician
About The Position
Bixby Animal Clinic is seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and Veterinary Technicians to join our busy private-practice animal hospital in Long Beach, CA. We are looking for strong technicians and leaders to add to our general practice department. We practice high-quality medicine with the latest technologies and offer a structured training program for all levels of technicians, from beginners to experienced professionals. Our small animal general practice performs various surgeries and collaborates with board-certified specialists for complex cases, providing ample opportunities for skill development. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
Requirements
- RVT license or VACSP (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with EzyVet software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Venipuncture
- IV catheter placement
- Monitoring anesthesia
- Performing cystocentesis
