Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician to become part of our experienced medical team. Requirements
- Holds an active RVT, LVT, or CVT credential
- Has at least one year of clinical veterinary technician experience
- Is confident monitoring anesthesia and performing dental procedures
- Works well in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Cornerstone and/or IDEXX
- Emergency or specialty experience
Responsibilities
- Assist with soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and ensure safe patient recovery
- Obtain high-quality dental radiographs
- Perform laboratory sample collection, treatments, and nursing care
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
- Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
- Assist with hospitalized and boarding patient care when needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
- Support and mentor newer team members as the hospital grows
